In contrast to common disinfecting sprays or gas sterilization, its anti-microbiotic and virus-inactivating effect lasts up to seven days after one single use.

Furthermore, it protects against fungal bacteria such as M. terra, M. tuberculosis, and M. avium within 10 additional more minutes. Within 30 seconds, HEYDAY’S – mp refresh – wood builds up an antiviral effect against hepatitis B and C, HIV, influenza, herpes, BVDV, and vaccines (“limited antiviral agent” according to DVV). Its effectiveness was proven similarly to the internationally recognized ASTM E 2180 test. HEYDAY’S – mp refresh – wood does not bear any health or dermatological risks. Its bio-compatibility was proven according to DIN EN ISO 109931.
